What do you like best about Reply?
Reply is very easy to use, with a straightforward UX design and plenty of features for base-level users like me. I started using Reply for outreach campaigns in my role, and getting over the learning curve was a cinch. As someone new to creating email campaigns, Reply couldn’t be a better tool to start familiarizing myself with these processes.
My outreach projects are rather simple, but thankfully the Reply team provides timely support when I run into issues. I use Reply daily, so knowing that the team is always ready to help is great.
I also appreciate Reply’s spam testing tool, which alerted me to an issue I need to address with my IT, and the Reply team provided a thorough response when I clicked the suggested follow-up in the app.

What do you dislike about Reply?
As I’m writing this, Reply does not have a direct integration with Microsoft Outlook, which might inhibit some of my use cases.
For example, the Chrome extension is required to use the manual step feature in a sequence. I wasn’t able to give it a real test drive because I didn’t proceed with the setup function that would have used my personal Gmail to complete. I was hesitant to do that given that my work email is through Outlook, and I did not want Reply connected in any way to my personal Gmail. I believe it would be more intuitive if the manual feature could be triggered directly in the Reply app. Because of this issue and that I did not find the explanation very clear when setting up my campaign, I had to create a new campaign from scratch and then import my list again. This caused some issues with duplicate emails being sent to a handful of recipients. Thankfully this was a low-stakes issue that didn’t harm anything…
I would love a Calendly or Outlook integration for the calendar/meeting scheduling feature, for example. I have to manually note what meetings were set while running a campaign, rather than Reply automatically designating the interaction as such in the campaign results. Reply is providing a simple solution for email distribution for my team. We’re using Reply to send service notifications to our customers, and I’m using it for outreach campaigns to stay in touch with our customers. We’re not sending emails on a massive scale with Reply, and its simplicity is making our work more efficient. I also look forward to using more of Reply’s features as my outreach campaigns evolve. We get at least 2 meetings booked per week with reply.io just because of the way the cadences are set up automatically, they suggest the best copy, ( they have an AI) And the Chrome extension is amazing at extracting data!

It would be great if we could group our sequences. We work with different sequences per client, and the ability of organise our sequences and templates accordly would be great. It is really easy to upload the contacts into a new campaign. Also, it is very helpful, that you can integrate your Hubspot account with your Reply account. Like this you don´t have to do extra work to log every step you did on Reply. Sending out the emails has always worked for me without any problems and no worries. We use Reply.io for following up our website leads. We have tried several instruments (SendGrid, MailChimp, HubSpot emails) before switching to Reply.io and so far it was the best instrument. Our response rate has increased by almost 10% due to Reply.io.
Pros:
– because there is not a lot of HTML involved in the formatting of the email, the letters get directly into the inbox (unlike Promotions or Spam), which is the main benefit of this emailing instrument. – it’s convenient to create email chains and track notifications and responses. – there are team plans for collaboration and you can see the activity of your colleagues, which helps a lot when you need to create statistics for the marketing department.
Cons:
– the absence of the HTML formatting is both a blessing and a curse. It is hard to highlight things in the email sometimes, but it pays off well.

I like the straightforward software, something you can hit some roadblocks, but then you can easily reach out for help in the support chat. Also, the software is easy to integrate and connect with Gmail just a few clicks.
By far the best part is the customization options and in what order you can reach out. I do about 5 to 10 times what I would normally send. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Reply?
The only roadblock is in some cases the price, but with things like this it’s always a calculation on how much you make from it.
For me, it’s easy if I can do 5 to 10 times the volume and 5x the revenue 50 bucks is nothing. Or ad it’s the highest price it is 90 so still not that much if is you get a high ticket customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Reply solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are a few mayor things that Reply has helped me with.
1. Email Tracking, you can see your rates on what is opened and replies, you can do AB testing. It’s excellent to review your campaigns and what your results are that you can use to further improve your rates.
2. The Inbox. Replies gives you an inbox that is sorted with all your leads, sorted in interested not interested etc. You can even make more labels, oh the software sees from the mail on how to label a lead, so it’s also accurate.
3. Auto Follow-ups. If the lead does not reply, it sent an auto mail to the lead. You can also customize these, so all the followups are just automated, this is amazing since most of the replies come from the follow-ups.
4. Help with replies. The AI drafts a possible reply, when someone replies, I did not expect anything, but this thing went beyond my expectations, I always review them before sending them but surprisingly a lot of times I have not changed the mail since the AI is that good.
In short, Reply helps me the most with sending the volume of mails, but these features are just the icing on the cake for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since there are too many leads at times, we can’t leave some behind, but personal emails to each one take too much time. Therefore, Reply saves us.
Pros:
It’s one of the best and easiest tools I’ve seen/used for follow-up emails that END UP IN THE INBOX (not in Spam, Promotions, or elsewhere) :) Besides the fact that it qualifies as actual email, the usability is on the highest level and therefore it’s a very convenient product to use.
Cons:
The emails don’t allow many formatting options, but if that means that the email goes to my client’s or lead’s Inbox, I’m okay with plain text emails.

The solution provided by Reply.io is highly disappointing, especially when it comes to LinkedIn automations. The sales team assured us that the software covers all the required functionalities, but it fails to meet expectations in almost every aspect.
E.g., the LinkedIn automation is severely flawed and it takes up to six hours to register replies. The sequence handling is inadequate as the software does not effectively transition leads between sequences.
Additionally, the support experience has been frustrating. Despite multiple attempts to resolve these issues, the solutions provided have been ineffective. I recently used REPLY for my business’s email marketing needs, and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
Service Quality: The overall service quality is far below what was advertised. The platform frequently has downtime, making it unreliable for time-sensitive campaigns. Many of the emails we sent out ended up in spam folders despite following all the guidelines provided by the company.
User Experience: The user interface is outdated and not intuitive at all. Simple tasks such as creating and scheduling campaigns take much longer than they should because of the convoluted menu system. Additionally, the email templates provided are very basic and lack customization options, which makes it hard to create engaging content.
Customer Support: The customer support is abysmal. On multiple occasions, I had to wait several days to get a response to urgent issues. When I finally did receive a response, the support team was unhelpful and often provided generic responses that did not address my specific problems. They seemed more interested in closing tickets than solving my issues.
Results: The performance of the email campaigns was far below expectations. The open and click-through rates were significantly lower than industry averages, and the analytics provided were not detailed enough to understand why. This made it impossible to optimize future campaigns effectively.
Pricing: For the price, I expected a much higher level of service and functionality. The platform is expensive, and there were several hidden fees that were not disclosed upfront. This included additional charges for basic features that should be included in the standard package.
Deliverability: One of the biggest issues was the deliverability rate. A significant percentage of our emails were not reaching the inboxes of our subscribers. Despite following all the recommended best practices and reaching out to support, the issue was never resolved.
Integration Issues: The platform promised seamless integration with other tools we use, but this was far from the truth. Integrations were buggy and often failed, leading to lost data and hours of additional work to manually correct issues.
**Comparison**: Compared to other email marketing platforms like Levitate and Active falls short in nearly every aspect. Competitors offer better user experiences, more reliable support, and greater transparency in pricing.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using Reply. The combination of poor service quality, unreliable support, high costs, and low deliverability rates make it a bad choice for any business serious about their email marketing efforts.

Great tool and exceptional customer service. I came on to my company during the pandemic to build out prospecting systems from scratch and Reply.io has been part of my strategy since the early days. During my time as an SDR, I had personally booked 340 discovery calls, a newer hire was brought on 18 months ago and he has booked 240 discovery calls using this same strategy. Reply is an excellent tool for getting your message out there while automating most things, the automation around opt outs, replies, etc is incredibly valuable for saving time.
