I E-mail potential candidates via HireVue 7 basic questions for screening purposes in order to determine suitability for employment based on our hiring criteria. I truly appreciate the flexibility that this software has. Candidates have told me who passed our initial screeners that they appreciated the fact that the interview screener was on their time.

So, I encourage HR persons to have a pre-screening with Hirevue to get a fair idea of how well they fit into the shoes of your ideal candidate, after which, you should have a final face to face interview because judging a candidate from a motion picture may end up in your organization employing a clown, or a well-rehearsed impostor at best

Dedicated support contact: After setting up lighting, putting on my suit, fastened my tie, and chasing away my friends so that the environment will be quiet, I discovered that my candidate login ID was non-functional. It took support only a really short while to respond, and it was sorted. Convenience and Cost-Cutting: HireVue makes the interview process highly convenient for both Interviewers and Candidates. Either party does not have to travel several kilometres for an interview, paying countless dollars in the process, especially when you are not sure of getting the job at the end of it all (no one wants to waste a buck these days). Efficiency: For the candidate, you can take your interview at any time of the day while the timeframe for the interview remains valid. This is especially helpful if you have a job, or a kid taking your time. For the Interviewer, Hirevue helps you work faster and effectively because in a case where there is a deadline for you to turn in your interview verdicts, you can decide to watch the interview at night or any other time. I would recommend the backend guys to look into this and fix whatever it is that saps data. It would also be nice if we didn’t have to upload the interview videos. What do you think about recording directly to a database after each question? I think that would be great. History/Storage: I think Hirevue should have a history tab where candidates can view their past recordings. This will greatly help with self-assessment, in a bid to improving subsequent video interview performance.

Examples: What does a hybrid interview look like if you have both on-site participants and virtual participants? Why can’t you archive a req and candidates but have the candidate in play for other roles? There should be a way to archive candidates for a req only vs archiving them from the system. Also, we have heard a ton of noise around audio challenges with your platform and issues with the video platform for interviewing. Sometimes we interview candidates who are located in remote areas and doesn’t have strong internet connectivity, in that case HireVue video quality suffers a lot, it all becomes very blur. Also there are some scenarios where the candidate can’t do video interview at that particular time and Hirevue can’t be used in those scenarios, otherwise it is all a positive experience with HireVue. We wanted to automate our candidate interviewing and assessment process especially when so many of our candidates were operating remotely. Hirevue helped us to achieve our goals where we can schedule an interview with a candidate working remotely, we can do initial assessment and then we can video interview the candidate, it is like being in the same room as the candidate. While other service providers offer significant discounts, only Montage provides services that match the savings. With excellent proactive instead of reactive customer service-, which wowed me and kept the promise, I greatly enjoy using this company’s product. Constantly enquiring how its products are performing with consumers and if they fail to meet expectations in any way, staff take the initiative to provide answers; It didn’t look like this decision was left up to the client with other video companies we’ve used. We frequently meet for performance discussions, acceptance rates, and optimization (as opposed t just collaborating) -it’s a mutually beneficial relationship with built-in safeguards that ensure output satisfaction. Having entered a new agreement with HireVue just prior to the pandemic closing our business down for a year, I was surprised to be issued a new invoice in 2021 for another years subscription. Unknowingly we were on a rolling contract and upon requesting to cancel the subscription on the day the invoice was issued, I was advised we needed 60 days notice to cancel. 2 months of discussions and they have not moved from their corporate response of ‘clause 7.3 of your contract states’. Deplorable behaviour! We are now forced to pay 2 full years of invoices for a product we did not use at all. Date of experience:
