I’ve lost all my contacts, copy, automations and marketing materials.
Due to US sanctions some IT services have to leave countries like Russia, Belarus and Iran. Even if my business is not registered in Russia and I may only have some customers from Russia, I understand when companies like Manychat decide to suspend an account.
But why the hell can’t you send a notification before the deletion process? Why I just wake up one day and realise that everything I worked on for the last few years is gone.
Notion, Coda, Slack and other products have left. No problems. But at least they gave a few weeks to prepare and download the data.
Manychat with it’s attitude to their users is a horrible example of customer experience. Good luck with that. Date of experience:

Manychat is a must-have tool for me to run my business. Unfortunately Instagram only allows us one option for directing our audience off the app: the link in bio. But with Manychat, I can deliver links directly to my audience in their DMs based on the keywords they send (and request! I never send anything that my audience hasn’t asked me for) rather than only having the link in bio as an option. This not only increases my account engagement and post reach, but more importantly, it helps my audience easily find the many tools, guides, and resources that I regularly make and distribute. On average, I have about 20 different Manychat flows active on my account and I don’t have any issues because I’ve set them up correctly. I’ve been a solopreneur for most of my journey as an online business owner and creator. So connecting with my community before ManyChat looked like manually replying to hundreds of DM’s every month at ALL hours of the day. MISSING a lot of hot leads because of delayed response. And feeling VERY burnt out and eventually unmotivated to connect with my community because of it. Since getting Manychat, I’ve been able to streamline my communication, capture and convert more hot leads, and my business feels way more structured, professional, and efficient. After an initial start a bit quiet and with few integrations, ManyChat has been able to conquer and establish itself in the market for advanced features, such as integrations and templates. This is the platform that I recommend to anyone who is starting from scratch.
Pros:
The product is very easy to use: despite its high potential and the many things it allows you to do, the menus and features are always organized in an orderly and logical way. Good responsiveness and stability
Cons:
I feel the lack of being able to make chatbots for the web channel: at the moment you can only create bots for Messenger, Email, SMS, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram. In the free plan you can’t do almost anything.

I like how ManyChat supports integration with popular messaging apps like Facebook Messenger and Instagram. With a lot of companies you would not be able to do as much with Facebook Messenger and Instagram but ManyChat lets you.
Cons:
Only thing I didn’t like about ManyChat is its support system. It seemed like you were almost not able to reach them. But overall, a great user base that helps out on other social media platforms.

Having made and used these many chatbots, I found no issues with its execution neither any customer complaints. We are still using Manychat in our company to address new and existing clients with new launches and Broadcasting Offers.

I really liked the ability of personalizing our messages when addressing clients since the names are auto populated from different social media platforms. Thus it takes less number of replies from the customer to get to conversion.
