What do you dislike about Synthesia?
As much as Synthesia is a great tool, a few things could be improved about it. The number of avatars and voices available is quite limited, which, however small, is one major gripe. Many are available, but more could add further variety and personalization to the videos.
The other one can be that the advanced features and customizations seem overwhelming for beginners. More attention to a more in-depth tutorial or onboarding process might help users pick these features up sooner.
Moreover, the tool remains pretty user-friendly on the whole, but there are a lot of hitches, quirks, and issues from time to time, especially when working on more significant projects. That would be great, continued improvement in these areas of stability and performance. These are minor shortcomings on the otherwise excellent score of Synthesia. Synthesia is solving several critical problems in video content creation, and these solutions have significantly benefited me.
First of all, it is solving the challenge of creating professional videos without much time, money, or expertise in the technicalities. Being a non-expert in video production, Synthesia is enabling me to make high-quality material in a fast and easy way. That’s what changes the game for my projects: no more relying on expensive production crews or complicated pieces of software.
Second, Synthesia makes it possible to create consistent and engaging video content. Its AI avatars and voices help me give all my videos a professional and uniform look. This consistency is salient to building and nurturing a strong brand identity.
Another issue that it addresses is attitudinal: the hassle one has to go through to update video content. “Great tool, highly recommend”
Overall:
Now that I use Synthesia I produce many more videos than I ever did before. I find that customers / potential customers find our video content much more engaging than simply images, so being able to create even short videos quickly is a huge advantage. In the past, I would sometimes opt for non-video content simply because there’s no time or resources to do otherwise. With Synthesia this is not a problem. Overall, I am an absolute fan of Synthesia and I highly recommend it.
Pros:
With Synthesia I can create great-quality, professional videos at the fraction of the time that it used to take me before, although I am an experienced user of other video creation tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro. Synthesia is very easy to use, intutitive, and realy saves a lot of time. And the quality of the avatars is amazing. I created my own avatar using a simple self-made studio set-up at home. The avatar is great and I use it all the time.
Cons:
I sometimes find it difficult to set the right pace for the voice-over i.e. when the avatar speaks I need to add quite a few pauses, etc. into the script even when I deliberately choose the voice which speaks slowly an clearly. I also sometimes have trouble with text editing. For example, I often cannot select the text I wish to edit right away and need to click / try 2-3-4 times before I can change font size, for example, or the fint itself. Don’t know why this happens.

Actually, I did not so much choose Synthesia over the alternative products, it’s just that I use Synthesia for most video creation now and leave other types of video content creation to tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro. I still need other tools but for 70% of what I need in terms of video I can now do with Synthesia.

What do you like best about Synthesia?
Synthesia adds a dynamic approach and makes my training videos much more interesting. They have good templates and I dont have to work so hard to produce my courses. I combine this with AI for narritive and it works really well. Is easy to implement and get started. Also you dont need much training its all pretty intuitive. I have used the support a few times and the support function is fantastic if you have a probelm.They are really on the ball. The best thing about Synthesia is that if you’ve ever used a straightforward design / build tool before (e.g. PowerPoint) then you’ll be able to pick up the basics faster than you’d think. Having such an intuitive design is a tremendous boon for a larger company with employees having an array of skillsets and experience with technology. I enjoy having confidence that I can take Synthesia to anyone and they can easily review and understand the video creation process. They still seem to rollout interface updates without giving proper advance notication. It’s not a show stopping issue, but it can cause some bumps, even when the updates are minor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Synthesia is delivering on expectations.”
Overall:
The experience has been great. It’s like creating presentations that are substantially more engaging and scalable. It’s a game changer for scaling virtual touchpoints as is the ability to generate a personal avatar. That process was very easy. In the future, I’d like to see feature specific pricing like adding on the exact language needed at an incremental price vs. a larger upgrade for a set of features. My hope is basic analytics will be available for basic tiers.

What do you like best about Synthesia?
It was really easy to learn and work with for someone like me who doesn’t have any skill in video making. Also they have a knowledge base as well as training webinars to help you work with the software but it’s really easy, fast and you will be amazed of the result. I had to create a marketing video as well as instructional videos for my company and I was worried about how to do it. because editing a video and synchronizing the sound is really difficult. I like all its features although there is still room to grow. for example you ahve the ability to add a video from internet to your own video but maybe you want to zoom in or zoom out, you don’t have that option. Overall:
Very positive overall with Synthesia and I’m very happy that we’re using it. I hope to have it expand to more licenses across the company. That’s my goal at least.
Pros:
It’s an incredibly intuitive tool. If you successfully navigate a tool such as PowerPoint, you can be off and running on this. Plus, features like the on-screen AI personas are neat, but we’ve found just having AI help to edit and punch up scripts, while awesome narrators are included? Makes a big difference.
Cons:
Interface updates feel like they roll out regularly, even small scale ones, without enough advance notification.

The Synthesis platform is so easy to use. I created an avatar of myself with a 2 minute video and was able to create videos of me with a script so I didn’t have to keep re-filming. I also used the avatars and created ads for Facebook. Overall, I’m very happy with their platform and would definitely recommend it to other small business owners like me. Date of experience:

I am in love with Synthesia.io and what it does. While the user interface upon successful login requires a little more effort to get used too when you are new, it doesn’t take long before it becomes intuitively easy to navigate around. Other than that the Avatars are just so believable they add too rather than detract from the content experience of the video. I know that Synthesia is coming up with new features over time which is marvellous but what I am experiencing with this App inspires me more about what can be done right now to produce content which individuals and small businesses like myself could only have dreamt about in the past! Synthesia provide a platform to create videos from text that is relatively simple to use and provides clear information for use.
I am relatively new to the AI, video, and avatar arena but found their platform easier to navigate than some of their competitors. They are also better priced than others, provide easy to access tutorials, and have a heap of resources and designs to choose from. Date of experience:

What do you like best about Synthesia?
Synthesia is wonderfully easy to use and creates professional looking training courses with very little fuss. The AI facility is realy useful as a help to getting started and the range of avatars and voices make choosing a format simple. The ability to add animations to sides without having to worry about timings and changing text is fantastic as is the ability to place avatars on different backgrounds. It has been rally easy to integrate into our other training product Articulate and courses are simple to implement. We have started to use Synthesia for all of our courses. We used to record our videos in person using a video studio. not only was this expensive but also it meant that everytime we needed to chnage anything the whole video had to be re-recorded.
